HistoryIdiots Video Library, was a small independent film company that concentrated on short comedy films. Founded in 1998 by Kevin Roof, the company was first called "Idiots and Idiots productions." The very first film shot was The Freak Street Murders. A short 10 minute film that took 2 weeks to shoot on an old VHS camcorder. The film was abandoned then edited 2 years later. The film was obvious crap, but it did not discourage the participants. The company was then dubbed Idiots Video Library, and early in 2003 became a subsidiary of Army of Four Studios. Idiots Video Library still continued to make short comedy films, but also kept open to a wide range of films. Most of what had been shot never made it online due to technical problems, but as this layout was made some of the lost video was restored, edited, and added to the site. |
